I am an editor with a 16 year background in news, features and documentaries.
I am prolifically involved with cutting high end Sport promos and montages for
BskyB.
I bring a proven track record of efficiency, creativity, and a comprehensive
technical grounding. I am available for linear or non linear applications, in both
edit suites and OB/Edit Van.
Currently based in London and the South East, available for hire anywhere in
England.
I am a fast editor (tape or disk based) working in Standard Definition or High
Definition, being able to work assisted or on my own. I can also offer a creative
flair that is important in achieving a quality finished product.
I am also a high level user of Avid (Composer/Symphony), Avid DS Nitris and

I have been in small, uncomplicated, no-frills edit suites cutting news stories
against a tight deadline - and I thrive on it. Keeping a cool and logical under
pressure is one of my strengths. Similarly I can sculpt a carefully crafted and
considered feature or music montage, built up over many layers with subtle
effects and grading.
Having edited documentaries in the past with little or no script or direction, I am
confident in making editorial decisions as and when required.
I am able to comply with technical
specifications for broadcast
and have consistently
supplied masters for
playout from
transmission or
gallery.
